As Dr. Leonard himself wrote of this book, \u2019the larger portion of the work is simply \u201eGray\u201d condensed and transposed\u2019, while he also acknowledged his debt to Brown\u2019s Aid to Anatomy and Bryant\u2019s System of Surgery.
