English For Technical Students 2 Teacher´s Notes

English For Technical Students is a two-stage course at beginners and elementary level for students in vocational or craft studies education, where English is part of the curriculum.

It teaches basic structures relevant to the use of English in craft education and practice, and also introduces and practices core vocabulary in the fields of work, auto mechanics, building and electrical installation.

A simple methodology has been adopted in English For Technical Students. Identifiable characters – tradesmen who work in the relevant craft areas – are used to present language gradually through everyday situations. Students are encouraged to talk and read in clear, step-by-step sequences of exercises.
