True to Life Starter WBk

True to Life is a five-level course designed especially for adult learners of English. The course takes learners from a complete beginner to upper-intermediate level.

True to Life is built around topics, language, tasks, and approaches to learning which adult learners will find relevant, stimulating and enjoyable.

The Starter level is designed for complete beginners and provides at least 40 to 60 hours of class work. It can be used as preparation for True to Life Elementary or any other elementary course.

The Personal Study Book provides further practice and consolidation of language for learners to use on a self-study basis. It contains both structured and open-ended material, covering grammar, vocabulary and pronounciation exercises and skills work, plus a full answer key. The Starter Workbook also contains a serialised story providing motivating extra reading and listening practice. A special feature is the Visual Dictionary component, for vocabulary development. The
