Rights and obligations of the customer
- The customer has the right to order products in the e-shop at the price specified by ExLibris and at the terms fixed by the customer in terms of quantity and delivery method.
- The consumer has the right to withdraw from the order of products without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the time of placing the order until receiving the products.
- In case the product returned by the customer is used or damaged, ExLibris has the right to demand the damage compensation in amount up to the sales price of the product, depending on the decrease in value of the product. The said amount is deducted from the amount returned to the customer.
- To withdraw from the order, the consumer should contact ExLibris and prepare a return application, by specifying the bank account to which the e-shop should return the money immediately after receiving the returned goods.
- The returned product can be exchanged for a new one upon the customer’s consent and the price difference is paid by the customer himself/herself or the shop returns it to the customer.
- The customer can return the goods within the set time to the office of AS Dialoog in person or by mail to the address Turu 9, 51004 Tartu.
- The customer can return the products to Dialoog stores or by mail. The customer bears the costs of returning the products when cancelling the order.
- It is not possible to return digital products (including e-books).
- The product sent to the customer should be correct, complete and correspond to the order.
- The customer has the right to cancel the order of the products in accordance with the previous clause.
- In case of non-conformity of the product, the customer has the right to rely on legal remedies provided by law.
- The customer has the right to submit a claim within 2 years based on § 218 (2) of the Law of Obligations Act (VÕS).
- The customer has the right to submit an application for withdrawal from the order to the e-shop (§ 54 (1)13) of VÕS) by using the standard withdrawal form, which is available on the following website:
https://www.riigiteataja.ee/aktilisa/1030/1201/4001/JM_m41_lisa1.pdf - When completing the order, the customer is required to provide the necessary information for the execution of the order: first and last name, contact phone number, e-mail address, address of Omniva or SmartPost parcel terminal and the address of the customer’s residence.
- In case the customer (representative of the authority), recipient (authority) and payer (e.g. city government) are different natural or legal persons, it is necessary to provide the registry codes of the authorities and e-mails and phone numbers of all parties.
- In case the customer and the recipient of the product are different, the customer should also provide fixed information about the recipient.
- In case the data provided by the customer is incorrect and/or incomplete, ExLibris does not guarantee the proper fulfilment of the product order. If possible, the e-shop will contact the customer to specify incorrect or incomplete data.
- By completing the order the customer confirms that he/she accepts the rules of ExLibris e-shop, agrees to one delivery method and agrees to follow the rules, pays for the goods and their delivery immediately or within three days.
- The institutions (schools, shops, libraries) indicate the delivery term when placing the order and choose a suitable period for payment: 15 days, 30 days or 60 days. The invoice should be paid and the excess books returned by the fixed time.
